Is the Tango Fire 4000 the Elite Model? Here’s What You Need to Know
One of the most common questions we hear is: “I bought the Tango Fire 4000—does that mean I have the Elite?”
Quick answer: The Tango Fire 4000 is the same hardware for everyone. The “Elite” designation is a software profile you select inside the AB Synapse – BOSS app after pairing your device.
Standard vs. Elite: What’s the Difference?
- The unit you purchase from Nashville Plow Works is the standard Tango Fire 4000 hardware.
- Elite is not a separate device—it’s a performance profile in the AB Synapse – BOSS app.
- Within the app, you can choose between UltraLite, Sportsman, or Elite profiles.
How to Enable Elite Mode
- Download and open the AB Synapse – BOSS app (iOS/Android).
- Pair your Tango Fire 4000 via Bluetooth.
- Open Profile Settings in the app.
- Select the Elite profile.
- Save & sync your settings to the device.
That’s it—your Fire 4000 will run in Elite mode after syncing.

- The app is a free download (iOS/Android). Pair your device and choose your preferred profile.
- How can I tell if Elite mode is active?
